Your Civocracy page is equipped with an ‘Updates’ feature. This allows you to inform your followers about the concertations, events (on and offline), and other developments.
Sending out updates is beneficial for two key reasons:
- participants will have all the information they need to have a constructive exchange about a certain issue,
- it re-engages participants, who often return to the concertations given this prompt.
Updates can be sent to all users who follow your project page (the persons subscribed to follow the update of your project!).
So how do I send an update to my entire project page?
- Click on ‘News’, which is located in the settings panel (back office) of your project page
- On the top right, click on "Add news", and add a title, a visual, and the content to your update in the corresponding boxes.
- To publish your update, click 'Save news', it will then be published on your project page in the news section (note: you can edit your news at any time).
- If you want to send it now, you can click on "Send news", it will arrive in your subscribers' email box!
All followers of your community will receive an email notification informing them of this update, this is a great way to have them come back on your project page.
